CLOUD STITCH: You can stitch the cloud stitch using many different fibers to create different looks. When stitching a cloud you have to determine what type of weather is your cloud in. Summer day at the beach - if this is what you have, I would use a soft white silk thread ply it down to 4 strands (13 mesh). Stitch the long stitches first. Then go in and stitch the small tabs with a soft blue/gray to add texture. A Children's piece with large puffy clouds - then go in with the long stitches using a Wisper or Fuzz Stuff thread. Fill in the small tabs with a coordinating white or soft yellow. Enjoy! |
